The historic place for the "Ton up Day" and countless motorcycle meets is back!

The history of Jack's Hill Café, a renowned bikers café in Towcester, includes its origins as a Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD) hospital during World War I, which was demolished after a fire in 1930.

The site later became a popular traveler's stop called Mansion House before being acquired by the Tower Café Group in 1955 and officially becoming Jack's Hill Café.

Now recognized as a well-known truck stop and meeting spot for bikers and car enthusiasts, Jack's Hill Café has been featured in shows like Top Gear.

The café reopened under new management in October 2025.

The new establishment, Jack's Hill Café and Truck Stop, is promoted as being open 24/7, focusing on serving truckers with amenities like HGV parking, showers, and EV charging.
